Ads that Follow You Around the Web

Have you ever spent the day working on your online business stuff and then went over to a recipe site to figure out what to make for dinner, only to be inundated with ads for autoresponders and other marketing products?

Autoresponder ads on a recipe site?!

Those ads attempt to target ads based on your interests, rather than based on the site you are viewing, which is what we’re used to seeing.

Well, a recent study has indicated that consumers aren’t that fond of this type of advertising. I know we can’t always dictate how we market based on personal preferences, but I find the logic of these ads is lost on me. If I am looking for recipes, my mindset is on food, not autoresponders.

I think they have a long way to go before they perfect the technology so that it makes sense.

Well, I may have had a miserable few days, but it’s looks like things have been great around here. I loved the Reason Why video with all your photos and it definitely brought a smile to my face while I used up yet another box of Kleenex.
