I love learning by example.

I could talk till I’m blue in the face about one concept or another, but until I give a concrete example, it’s very hard to really internalize that concept.

Here are a few of the most important concepts to understand about internal linking – Along with a few examples to really hammer them home. [Read more...]

For PLR Sellers: It Makes Me Smile When Things Click

Happy Baby - Smiling Because a PLR Provider Has it Coming Together

I wanted to share some feedback that fellow PLR-provider, Peg Baron, shared with me because it always makes me smile when things really start to click for people.

You see, a while back she interviewed me for her Professional PLR Provider Newsletter and I gave some advice on selling PLR that I found really helpful.

Well, Peg emailed with some feedback from one of her subscribers. She wrote:

Hey Peggy,

I wanted to thank you for putting all the work you did into the PPP Newsletter. I’ve enjoyed all of them, but this issue really hit home in several sections. Feel free to use all, part or none of this email as a testimonial if you are still posting them.

#1. The interview with Alice Seba regarding splitting up the writing and the marketing. OMG, this is so relevant to me now. After finally muddling through getting the affiliate stuff set up for my PLR site and the horrible “crap” with the hacking that you got to witness, I really ran out of steam.

Now I’m in this funk where I find it impossible to keep up writing to make a living, writing for PLR and the marketing. So I sit in a slump. I think I’m going to have to get some help in one or both areas or this is never going to get my PLR site “off the pot.”

Anyhow, I appreciated Alice’s input on this.”

It really feels good when I know that my advice really hits home for people. I know that particular piece of advice is often hard to swallow, but eventually they figure it out. You NEED help. Running the business completely alone only holds you back.

If you’re interested in learning more about Peg’s newsletter, have a boo here.  I constantly hear great feedback about Peg’s publication, so if you can use the advice…definitely get on board.

Zero Inbox: The Key to Being Professional, Fast and Stress-Free

In a previous article, I wrote about the “Getting Things Done” system.

I briefly touched on the Zero Inbox philosophy / methodology, but didn’t go in depth.

This methodology is so critically important however, I decided to write an entire article about it.

Implementing this methodology will allow you to:

  • Drastically reduce the amount of work-related or blogging-related stress you have.
  • Never “drop the ball” on communications again.
  • Get things done much faster.
  • Improve your personal relationships.
  • Free up time so you can work on other aspects of your business.

Best of all, it doesn’t take any effort at all once you get used to it. The first month or so takes a little getting used to, but this system will pay off for the rest of your life.

This isn’t a theoretical article. This is something I’ve been doing for over a year. The screenshot in the corner is an actual screenshot from my currently empty inbox. This is what my inbox looks like at the end of every day, even if I receive 40 emails that day.

Here’s how to implement this system and how it’ll affect your life. [Read more...]
