“Reason Why” Photo Contest: Win Fabulous Content Prizes

I think a lot of us have been working REALLY hard lately. I know many of our readers have been putting renewed focus into their content publishing and monetization…and I do hope it’s been paying off.
With free access to our Better Content Marketing course available for everyone, there are no more excuses. 
Anyway, since we’ve all been working hard, I thought it would be good to have a little fun and step back and really think about WHY we do what we do. Plus, when you keep your reason why in the forefront, it really keeps you focused and motivated to keep going.
With that in mind, I’d like to do is run a little photo contest. Take a picture of your REASON WHY and enter for a chance to win. Whether it’s your kids, a screenshot of all the thank yous you get from your readers, a hobby, your dream home or more time for volunteer work…it doesn’t matter because it’s YOUR reason why.
Prizes:
8 prizes in total be awarded during this contest. 3 grand prize winners will be chosen by our judging panel based on a combination of creativity, inspiration and number of likes/votes. Grand prize winners will receive one of the following prizes…
- 1st Prize: Free PLR for life from APLC and DIYPLR…plus, lifetime access to all our Content Accelerators. A prize worth thousands of dollars for sure.
- 2nd Prize: $300 worth of PLR of your choice at APLC or DIYPLR…plus, $30 worth of Content Accelerators of your choice (Value: $330)
- 3rd Prize: $150 worth of PLR of your choice at APLC or DIYPLR…plus, $20 worth of Content Accelerators of your choice (Value $170).
Plus, we’ll give out 5 RANDOM DRAW PRIZES for $50 worth of product from APLC, DIYplr or Contentrix (Value: $50 each).
That should make content creation a whole lot easier for quite some time, right? Of course, we have to go over some of the rules before you rush off.
Rules:
1 entry per person per day. Increase your chances of winning by entering daily, but you must submit a new photo for each entry.- You must submit a photo that you have taken yourself or that you have full rights to publish (and can give us rights to publish as well).
- Yes, you can use a graphics editor to add text, other images or any embellishments you want. Express your creativity freely, but unembellished photos can be just as creative and meaningful, so don’t sweat the little details.
3 grand prize winners will be chosen by our panel of judges based on a combination of creativity and inspiration. The number of likes/votes may also come into play. Likes/votes refers to the number of individuals who click the “Like” button of your photo on the Contentrix “Reason Why” board, so you can ask your friends to vote for you, but realize the judges will have the final say.- 5 random draw prize winners will be chosen from the remaining contestants, after the 3 grand prizes are awarded.
- By submitting your photo, you provide us with permission to publish your photo and use it in any promotional materials we may develop in the future.
- Deadline for entries is Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
How to Enter
You have a couple of choices on how to submit your entry, so please just choose ONE of these. Either method works perfectly fine and there is no increased chance of winning either way.
Please DO NOT submit duplicate entries…it just creates a whole lot of confusion and we confuse easily!
ENTRY METHOD #1: Pin your photo wioth a brief description (25 words maximum) to your Pinterest account. Post a link to your pin in the comments area below and we will repin your entry, with your name, to the Contentrix “Reason Why” board.
OR
ENTRY METHOD #2: Load your photo to your website. Post a direct link to to the location of the image (not a blog post…just the image) and include a brief description (25 words maximum) for your image in the comments area. We will save your photo and pin it, with your name, to the Contentrix “Reason Why” board.
We’ll be pinning all the entries onto Pinterest and creating what I hope to be something very inspirational and meaningful to those of use who work from home, publishing content to feed our families and to afford all those little extras. Oh, and did I mention the fabulous prizes?!
