16 Ways to Use Content Online

Written by Angela Wills

In previous articles we’ve discussed ideas for content creation. But before you create your content you need to know how you’re going to use it.

Here are 16 ways to use content online:

1.Website Articles
2.Blog Posts
3.Reports (usually 5-20 pages)
4.eBooks (usually 20 pages plus)
5.Coaching Material
6.Email Broadcasts & Autoresponders
7.Forum Posting
8.Tutorials
9.Product Reviews
10.Audio/Podcast Scripts
11.Video/Podcast Scripts
12.Social Media Snippets
13.Product Sales Copy
14.Checklists
15.Case Studies
16.Advertising
17.Personal Email Proposals

Next time you’re in the mood for writing but don’t know what you should do first check back with this list. Then scan it over and write down in order of priority what you need to do in order to pull in the profits you need.

Here’s an example: Let’s say I want to launch a coaching program on graphic design. The content I’ll want to use is below.

1. Course Materials – My course will be video so I’ll need a video script, a content summary and probably some homework for my students.
2. Product Sales Copy – To convince potential students why they need my course.
3. Blog Posts – To let my readers know about my new course.
4. Email Broadcasts – To let my list know about my new course.
5. Personal Email Proposals – To invite affiliate partners to join me in promoting the course.
6. Forum Posting – I might also post on relevant forums about the topic with a link back to my course included.
7. Video Script – I’ll do a quick review of what the course covers and add that to my sales page.
8. Advertising – I might also pay for advertising on appropriate websites.

Content makes the ‘net go ’round. Knowing what content you need will help keep you from procrastinating and wasting time surfing while you try to figure out what to do next. Create a clear plan and dive right in. Before you know it you’ll have a product and promotional materials ready to help new customers and earn you an income!
