7 Ways to Use All That Content Hiding on Your Hard Drive
Written by Angela Wills
Not too long ago I did a clean sweep of my computer and decided that I need to either delete or use any and all content I could find. It was like hitting jackpot!
I had old newsletters from defunct websites, reports I’d written but never done anything with, pages from sites I’d long taken down and hundreds of pages of PLR content (most of which I’d never used). So I got to work using it all up.
How I used it should give you some inspiration to go through your own computer files and ideas on what to do with that goldmine of content that might be hiding on your hard drive.
Here’s ten ideas of what you can do with those blog posts, reports, website pages, plr and more that’s just collecting digital dust:
1. Autoresponders – This is my favorite because once the autoresponders are set and the promotional affiliate links are added I have invested in future profits.
2. Article Marketing – I had a lot of original articles just wasting away. I popped them into my Ezine Articles account and suddenly I had new traffic, links and exposure potential.
3. Blog Posts – I plumped up my blog with lots of new posts.
4. Podcasts – Some of the articles and reports on my hard drive made great topics for podcasts so I set up and did some recording.
5. Videos – Using Camtasia recording software and Open Office I used the content to set up a presentation that I recorded on video to submit to YouTube.
6. Webinars – Some of my reports made great content for live teachings. I used these to build my email list and also promote affiliate programs that related to the topic at hand.
7. Reports – A lot of my PLR content made for great reports. What I did was use that to create giveaway reports for my email list, hopefully resulting in a higher sign up rate.
As you can see there are many useful things you can do with that content sitting on your computer. If you’ve just let it sit for too long now’s the time to dust it off, get it out and USE IT.
Imagine the time and money you’ll save by using what you’ve got rather than paying a ghostwriter or writing it all yourself (again).

Everybody says "Content is King", but what does that mean for you?

Alice Seba says:
Great ideas…and you can use a lot of your PLR for ALL their purposes. In other words, use it over and over again to fit different needs and projects.
Shannon says:
Great advice. I always remember Alice’s advice to use and reuse content, but sometimes I need reminders.
Angela Wills says:
Thanks Shannon and Alice!
Yea I agree Alice on reusing PLR and all your content over and over again. It’s such a waste to post something once and then move on to the next, people can enjoy it in so many ways.
I am mindful of crossing over the content so someone sees it everywhere but generally I don’t think it’s a big worry.
